Q: I don’t have a piano or keyboard, may I still sign up for piano Lessons?
A: Yes you may still sign up for piano lessons. we can start off with fundamentals, rhythm, and counting, but to get the most out of your lessons you will need to get a keyboard or piano to practice on
Q: Where can i get a Keyboard or Piano?
A: you can get a keyboard or piano at a lot of different places. some students have found instruments on eBay, Facebook marketplace, offerup, and craigslist. I (Ashla ) personally have purchased a keyboard on Ebay and it worked out great, plus I saved money
Q: What kind of Keyboard or piano should I look for?
A: It all depends on how much you want to spend, they could Range from Free to 15,000 plus. I recommend getting a 76 or 88 keyboard/digital piano with weighted keys. If you would like an acoustic piano, make sure you play every key to make sure each key is working. Take a thorough look at the condition of the piano. Keep in mind that Acoustic pianos must be tuned every couple of years or after any major moves that involve climate change
Q: May I start Lessons anytime?
A: Yes you can. Lessons start when you start at your level
Q:What Curriculum will be used and where can I Buy Books?
A: the Curriculum depends on your level. before the first lesson we will discuss what will be needed for lessons. For Most Students we will be using Faber Piano Adventures Books. some great websites to purchase music are Amazon, prima music, hal leonard, sheet music Plus, Ebay, and Piano Adventures
